We are recruiting for an experienced and driven Sous Chef to join a stunning 4-star golf resort in Peebles. This is a permanent role, paid hourly £17.50/hour with temporary live-in accommodation available whilst you settle in - perfect for someone ready to step into a rewarding position at a top-tier destination.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Head Chef with menu planning and daily food prep
- Leading and motivating the kitchen team
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Ensuring the kitchen stays clean, safe, and compliant
- Bringing fresh ideas to help improve kitchen operations
What we’re looking for:
- Solid experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or resort setting
- A real passion for great food and guest satisfaction
- Confident leadership with a calm, hands-on approach
- Strong understanding of kitchen systems and food safety
- Someone who thrives under pressure and works well as part of a team
