Reservations Manager - Windermere

We are recruiting for an experienced Reservations Manager with a luxury hotel background. Our client is a 4 star hotel based in the Lake District. It boasts over 100 bedrooms, conference facilities for up to 200, 6 meeting rooms, lounge, bar, restaurant, leisure and spa facilities. 

As an ambassador for the hotel you will be a confident operator with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • The day to day running of the reservations department and team
  • You will manage the reservations process from initial enquiry through to confirmation stage for both individual bookings and group bookings
  • You will maintain and develop great working relationships with key stakeholders
  • You will work with the sales and revenue departments to maximise revenue, room occupancy and average room rates.
  • You will ensure that all enquiries are accurately recorded and reported
  • You will monitor and report on local & extended markets.
  • You will work alongside all hotel departments ensuring good communication processes are implemented and maintained

As Reservations Manager, you will have at least two years experience in a similar role/venue and be able to demonstrate great leadership qualities and staff management experience. Motivation and excellent communication skills are vital for this role as is the enthusiasm to consistently deliver a high quality service in a fast paced environment. You must also possess strong organisation skills and be meticulous and methodical in the day to day operation.
