Arecibo are delighted to be recruiting for a Regional Director of Sales for our client, a well-established, luxury hotel group.
The ideal candidate will be based in Scotland, supporting with the creation of new business and account management for their prestigious portfolio of properties.
The role:
Reporting into the Group Director of Sales, the Regional Director of Sales will identify and manage local sales opportunities, to deliver the achievement of the hotel sales budgets. The Regional Director of Sales will also work closely with the General Manager of each hotel to create and drive sales and new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define, develop and implement the sales strategy for the regional portfolio of hotels
  • Identify existing and target market segments for each hotel, align sales actions to achieve targets
  • Identify National Account relevance to region, targeting networking activity to acquire new business and grow market share accordingly
  • Develop a regional and local target account portfolio, apportion accounts with Sales Managers and define existing and new business revenue targets for each portfolio
  • Drive targeted sales activity, reviewing account revenue production against targets quarterly
  • Work with sales office teams to increase sales lead opportunities, increase conversion percentage and drive a sustained approach to target sales pro-activity
  • Review and submit individual sales pipeline and KPI results against target monthly
  • Conduct a formal quarterly regional sales review with senior management teams
  • Ensure comprehensive competitor knowledge within region is maintained and actioned upon to increase local market share
  • Share sales best practice principles within wider teams ensuring a consistent, on brand, approach with both internal and external customers
