The hotel is set in the heart of the Scottish Borders, Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa is a popular 4-star resort offering accommodation, spa, golf, dining, and events, known for excellent service and hospitality

The Role

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth and positive experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and managing check-ins and check-outs
• Handling guest enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
• Processing reservations, payments, and billing accurately
• Providing information about the hotel, spa, golf, and local area
• Resolving guest queries professionally and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service
• Working closely with other departments to ensure excellent guest experiences

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, professional, and confident manner
• Good IT skills and attention to detail
• Flexible approach to shifts, including weekends
• Passion for delivering excellent guest service
