Arecibo is recruiting a Reception Manager for a beautiful Regency house hotel set on the shores of Ullswater in the heart of the Lake District National Park. With 41 bedrooms, conference facilities for up to 80 guests and two meeting rooms, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a stunning destination property.
The Role
Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations across reception, front of house, events, housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while supporting service and revenue targets.
You’ll be a confident communicator who thrives in a guest-facing environment, able to lead by example while supporting the wider team.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven hotel front office experience within a quality or luxury environment
- Experience managing events, weddings and functions
- A warm, professional approach with a passion for exceeding guest expectations
- Highly organised with strong communication and computer skills
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings
