About the Role

This autonomous, office-based position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who excels under their own initiative. Reporting directly to remote management, you will demonstrate independence, reliability, and sound judgement in your day-to-day work. Adaptability is key, as you will occasionally lend support to other departments and assist multiple stakeholders and properties across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing and supplier information
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for suppliers—managing queries, tracking orders, and coordinating deliveries
  • Keep procurement records up-to-date, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation 
  • Ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, item descriptions, and supplier details
  • Assist with tender administration, quotation comparisons, and supplier evaluations
  • Provide analytical support including spend reports, cost analysis, and cost-saving summaries
  • Support supplier compliance checks including certifications, insurance, and sustainability documentation
  • Support the purchasing function with general administrative and operational tasks
  • Provide flexible assistance to other departments as required

About You

  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or purchasing role is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Previous experience of a procurement management system would be advantageous
