With over 100 bedrooms, conference facilities for up to 200, six meeting rooms, a bar and restaurant, and luxurious leisure and spa facilities, our venue is seeking a dynamic individual to join as the Front Office Manager.
The Front Office Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the hotel's reputation for delivering a consistently high standard of customer service. This position involves overseeing the reception and night teams, providing leadership and motivation to ensure the company's visions, values, and targets are not only met but exceeded.
- Check-in/out procedures, efficient reservation and enquiry handling, and event coordination.
- Management of guest service feedback and effective information handling and distribution.
- Accurate billing and revenue posting, along with professional attention to guest and colleague inquiries.
- Daily and weekly reporting, and regular attendance at key business meetings.
- Development and management of staff rotas.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a luxury hotel in a similar role (preferably 2 - 3 years).
- Systems experience in Opera is preferred.
- Passion for customer service and consistently exceeding guest expectations.
- Excellent communication skills with high standards of literacy, numeracy, and proficiency in office-based systems.
- Professional and welcoming approach to guests.
- Immaculate presentation standards in all aspects of the role and responsibilities.
- Organized and able to work to deadlines.
- Flexibility to cover early starts, late/evening finishes, and weekends in this seven-day/week operation.
