You'll be at the centre of the hotel's food and beverage operation, ensuring every service runs smoothly, every guest leaves impressed, and every team member feels supported and motivated. You'll also work closely with the General Manager, playing a key role in the day-to-day running of the hotel and confidently deputising in their absence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the day-to-day food and beverage operation, ensuring service, quality and profitability are consistently delivered.
- Supporting the General Manager with the overall operation of the hotel and acting as their deputy when they're away, ensuring the hotel continues to run smoothly.
- Inspiring, coaching and developing a talented team to deliver exceptional guest experiences every day.
- Driving operational excellence by maintaining high standards, implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Managing staffing, stock control and supplier relationships to keep the operation running efficiently.
- Working closely with the senior leadership team to identify new opportunities, improve performance and enhance the guest journey.
- Monitoring budgets, analysing financial performance and delivering against sales and profitability targets.
- Building strong relationships with guests, confidently handling feedback and resolving issues with professionalism.
- Keeping ahead of hospitality trends and bringing fresh ideas to continuously improve the food and beverage offering.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Operations Manager within a hotel environment, ideally in a 4-star property or similar.
- A confident leader with the ability to support senior management and step up to lead the hotel in the General Manager's absence.
- A natural coach who motivates, develops and brings out the best in their team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities in a busy operation.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, controlling costs and driving revenue.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.
- Calm under pressure, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences while creating a positive and inclusive workplace.
