A unique opportunity for a passionate and driven Executive Head Chef to join our client during an exciting period of change and development. In return for a very competitive salary and benefits package alongside excellent career development opportunities the Executive Head Chef will oversee the complete food and beverage offering for our client; a luxury 4 star resort in the picturesque Cairngorms. The property boasts 4 hotels, conference facilities for up to 1150, cinema, luxury shopping complex, leisure facilities and a varied number of F&B outlets. As Executive Head Chef, you will have minimum 2 rosette experience, be proactive and highly organised, demonstrate a passion for quality with proven ambition to drive standards to the next levelThe successful candidate will have full responsibility for the resort kitchens and will report directly to the Food & Beverage Operations Director.
 
Key to this role will be the ability to manage a number of busy kitchen environments with the ability to focus on consistency and quality. You will be responsible for managing costs in the kitchens, in particular those around food GP and working within manning parameters. Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy kitchen environments across all sites in line with current legislation will also be key.
Executive Head Chef Requirements:
  • Previous Head Chef experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment is essential
  • Demonstrable multi-unit experience
  • Demonstrable rosette level experience
  • Industry relevant qualifications
  • Immaculate presentation standards in all that you do
  • Good communication skills with guests and colleagues at all levels
  • Passion to exceed guest expectations first time, on time, every time
  • Oversee stock take, ordering and delivery process as well as ensuring correct storage of food at all times
  • Oversee H&S aspects of the kitchen including statutory record requirements
  • Provide leadership to the team within the kitchen, recruiting, training and mentoring a high performing kitchen brigade
  • Managing the human resources aspect of the kitchen
