We are recruiting for a Chef de Partie for our client, a country house hotel set in landscaped gardens, within walking distance of The Kelpies on the outskirts of Grangemouth and Falkirk.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the company's standards and menu specifications.
- Assist in the development and presentation of culinary creations, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Support the Head Chef and senior kitchen team with daily operations and special projects.
- Manage and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise waste to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail in food presentation and quality assurance.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie within a busy kitchen environment.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment with flexible approach
