Arecibo are pleased to be working in partnership with our client, a luxury 4 and 5 star hotel group boasting a portfolio of prestigious properties. We are currently supporting them in the recruitment of two Cashiers (Cash/Banking Assistants) to join their busy finance team.
 
The Role
As a Cashier, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the group’s financial operations. This is a varied position where accuracy, organisation, and teamwork are essential.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly banking processes
  • Allocate payments accurately and promptly
  • Complete bank reconciliations across a portfolio of accounts
  • Process payments through various banking portals
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations and reporting
  • Handle direct debit collections
  • Report and monitor outstanding transactions
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Undertake ad hoc finance and administrative duties as required
About You
We’re looking for individuals who take pride in their accuracy and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem solving. You’ll be comfortable managing your own workload while contributing to a supportive team environment.
 
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Strong Excel skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Confident working autonomously and collaboratively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical and solution-focused mindset
Desirable:
  • Experience using Sage Intacct (or similar accounting software)
