Arecibo are recruiting for a pro-active Accounts Payable Assistant with excellent attention to detail for our client, a luxury 4 and 5 star hotel group boasting a portfolio of prestigious properties. The revenue streams include rooms, food and beverage, golf, leisure and spa.
The Accounts Payable Assistant is an integral part of the team reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager and working with the wider finance team including the financial controller, cashiers’ team, and third-party finance partners. Duties will include but not limited to:
- Processing and managing invoices ensuring timely and accurate payment runs
- Reconciling purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Collaboration with other departments, such as Purchasing and Finance, to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
- Managing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers
- Preparing and analysing accounts payable reports
- Performing monthly statement reconciliations for all suppliers
- Assisting with internal / external audits and providing documentation and support as needed
Alongside the above the Accounts Payable Assistant should demonstrate high levels of accuracy, excellent communication skills and computer literacy systems experience including Procure Wizard, Purchase Warrior and Sage Intact would be preferable although not essential.
