Arecibo are excited to be recruiting for a Receptionist for our client, a 3 star mid-sized hotel, located in a fantastic city centre location. The hotel offers a mix of modern and traditional, well suited to the iconic Edinburgh location. It is essential for the role that you have prior hotel experience and this would best suit someone who is very much guest focused person with a passion for delivering quality service excellence. As Hotel Receptionist you will be engaging and offer a warm welcome to all guests, ensuring the smooth check in, check out and handling all guest queries in a professional and timely manner. You will also liaise with other departments across the hotel to ensure that you are fully aware of food and beverage offerings in the restaurant, bar and room service. You will work 5 days out of 7 and the shift patterns are mixed with staff accommodation on offer for back to back shifts (7am – 3pm and 3pm – 11pm).
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a similar role. You will have a ‘can do’ solutions focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure. You will also have great organisation skills and a great eye for detail. You will be fluent in written and spoken English and be a great team player.
