We are delighted to be recruiting for a Head Waiter/Waitress for our client, a very popular, established Italian restaurant set in the heart of the city of Chester. The restaurant offers an authentic Italian experience from the menu through to the service and atmosphere and includes al fresco dining on the terrace. The family run restaurant boasts an established team and as Head Waiter/Waitress you will be responsible for a team of up to 15 staff.
You will oversee restaurant service, ensuring that all sections and areas are running smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for the daily coaching and development of your team ensuring service excellence and exceeding guest expectations.
The Candidate
- At least 2 to 3 years in a fast paced environment at Head Waiter/Waitress level
- Superb guest service skills with a background of exceeding guest expectations
- Great product knowledge
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English
- An engaging personality, able to communicate at all levels
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Pride and precision in your work
