Arecibo are delighted to be recruiting for a Head Banqueting Chef. Our client is a luxury 4 star hotel near Aberdeen. The property boasts over 70 bedrooms, conference facilities for up to 300 and a 2 AA Rosette awarded restaurant.

THE ROLE

As Head Banqueting Chef you will oversee the Conference & Banqueting kitchen operations including weddings, functions, meetings, conference and all events. With a passion for great flavours and a creative flair, you will be integral in developing menus. You will have a great eye for detail and demonstrable leadership qualities to ensure a guest service excellence.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Previous banqueting experience in a similar role
  • Great communication skills
  • Demonstrable leadership experience
  • Strong rosette background
  • Menu development experience
  • Creativity and flair
  • Commercially astute and financially aware
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Flexibility to work hours required by the business (5 days out of 7 to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
